Heat Activated Board for Canvas: Introducing MountCor® Canvas, the industry’s first heat-activated board designed exclusively for mounting printed canvases, fine art giclées, and fabric. With its robust adhesive, it forms a lasting bond at a low bonding temperature of 130°F (54°C) and is suitable for both mechanical and hot vacuum presses.
MountCor® Canvas performs exceptionally in vacuum presses, achieving full tear strength for any canvas at 130°F (54°C) in a mere 4 minutes, while requiring only a single-sided sheet of release paper on top.
The revolutionary adhesive formula of MountCor® Canvas bonds all grades, weights, finishes and fiber content of canvases with confidence, including:

Translucent Gridded Release Liner: MountCor® Canvas comes with a translucent, gridded release liner that revolutionizes image positioning. This feature eliminates the need for separate release boards, except when multiple bites are necessary. Each board includes a release liner that safeguards the adhesive during storage and assists in mounting, ensuring your work remains safe, clean, and particle-free throughout the mounting process. The permanent adhesive stays secure during shipping or storage, even in high or prolonged summer temperatures. Plus, any excess trim from oversized boards used in the press can be reused.
Smoother Surface: Thanks to MountCor® Canvas’s smooth precision coating and unique air release technology, air entrapment is completely eliminated. As MountCor® Canvas does not depend on a textured adhesive for air flow, it will never imprint any pattern on your finished artwork, regardless of pressure.
Acid-Free: Designed for long-term preservation, MountCor® Canvas’s acid-free features will endure for several hundred years under typical library and archive conditions. MountCor®’s facing papers comply with the ANSI/NISO Z39.48-1992 (R2009) Standard for Performance of Paper for Publications and Documents in Libraries and Archives. Furthermore, MountCor®’s adhesive and foam center are pH neutral and inert.
